Simple syrup

Bitters

1/2 ounce

2 ounces

1/4 ounce

2 dashes

Sliced lemon peel

for garnish

POUR ABSINTHE INTO A GLASS

Roll the Absinthe around the glass to coat the bottom and sides, then dump the excess.

MIX INGREDIENTS IN A TUMBLER

 Add bourbon, simple syrup and bitters in an ice-filled tumbler.

STIR, THEN STRAIN

 Stir, then strain into the absinthe-rinsed glass.

GARNISH

Garnish with a lemon peel. Serve without ice.
