Marinated Cheese
Marinated cheese is the perfect last minute appetizer. With only five ingredients, it's quick and easy to assemble and delicious to boot.
- 1 packet ranch salad dressing seasoning mix
- 2-3 tablespoons red pepper flakes add more for heat
- 1 cup good olive oil
- 1-2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
- 1 8 oz. container of Ciliegine mozzarella cheese
Whisk together the first four ingredients until the ranch seasoning is well incorporated.
Pour the Ciliegine into a pint mason jar or bowl with a tight fitting lid. Pour the olive oil mixture over the cheese. Secure the lid to the jar or bowl. Shake the jar or bowl for a few seconds to coat the cheese.
Allow cheese to marinate in the refrigerator for at least eight hours, preferable overnight.
Allow cheese to come to room temperature before serving.
