Buttery Seasoned Snack Mix

Buttery seasoned snack mix combines crunchy toasted pretzels, crackers, cereal and popcorn coated with garlic herb butter and Parmesan cheese. It's the ultimate snacking experience!

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) Minerva Dairy garlic herb butter
  • 3 cups cheese crackers
  • 2 cups mini twist pretzels
  • 2 cups puffed cereal
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup popped popcorn kernels


  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  • Melt the butter in a large rimmed baking or roasting pan.
  • While the butter is melting, combine the cheese crackers, pretzels and cereal.
  • Add the Worchestershire sauce, red pepper flakes and onion powder to the melted butter and stir.
  • Pour the cracker/cereal mixture over the melted butter and stir until everything is completely coated with the butter mixture.
  • Return the pan to the oven and roast for 10 minutes.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese. Stir.
  • Add the popcorn and stir.
  • Roast for an additional five minutes.
  • Allow the snack mix to cook slightly before serving.


Store the cooled snack at room temperature in a large zippered storage bag or a plastic or glass container with an airtight lid. If stored properly, this snack mix can stay fresh for 4-6 weeks (if it even lasts that long).
To freeze, store the snack mix in an airtight plastic container if you’re going to do this. A plastic bag makes the snack mix more susceptible to getting crushed if it gets moved around and glass has the risk of shattering when frozen. I recommend eating the frozen snack mix within one month. Allow the container to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to one hour to thaw. Then serve as usual.
