Fruit Tea Punch

Liven up your sweet tea recipe with this fruity version of fruit tea punch -- fruit juices and fizzy ginger ale give this popular beverage a sweet kick.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups strong brewed tea cooled
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 2 ½ cups orange juice
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 quart ginger ale

Instructions

  • Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Continue to simmer until sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens into a thin syrup. Remove syrup from the heat and allow to cool completely.
  • In a large container, combine syrup, tea, lemonade, and juices. Add sliced strawberries and ginger ale right before serving.

Makes 1 ½ gallons
