Chocolate Peanut Butter and Banana Ice Cream

Creamy peanut butter and ripe bananas are combined with mini chocolate peanut butter cups in this recipe for chocolate peanut butter banana ice cream.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cups peanut butter not natural
  • 1 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups mini peanut butter cup candies


  • Place bananas, peanut butter, milk, and sugar in a blender. Process until smooth.
  • Pour banana peanut butter mixture into a large mixing bowl. Add cream and vanilla. Stir until combined. Place bowl in the fridge or freezer for about 20 mins.*
  • Churn ice cream according to manufacturer's directions. During the last five minutes of mixing, add peanut butter cups.
  • Serve immediately for soft serve ice cream. For a firmer consistency, freeze ice cream for several hours.
