So one of the staples in my kitchen is Kikkoman Roasted Garlic and Teryaki Marinade. No, I am not a paid spokesperson, I just happen to LOVE this stuff! I always substitute it for soy sauce in mystir frys and have used it as a marinade for just about everything.
My husband and I love eating salmon, but I feel like here lately I have been pulling the same two recipes from my arsenal every single time I go to prepare it. Today I had planned on just marinating a few fillets in the teriyaki sauce, but then decided at the last minute to throw a few additional ingredients in the mix and keep my fingers crossed. It got a thumbs up from the peanut gallery, aka my husband, so I guess it is good enough to share with you.
Chili Teriyaki Salmon
- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tbsp. Kikkoman Roasted Garlic and Teriyaki Marinade
- 2 tbsp. roasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
Combine ingredients in a large resealable plastic bag. Gently shake bag to coat salmon fillets. Allow to marinade for at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange fillets on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until the center of the fillet flakes easily with a fork.
