Hard Spiced Apple Cider 013 WM

This is a first. I have ALL my Christmas shopping done with two weeks to spare! Thank God for online shopping and With all the spare time I’m going to have NOT going to the mall, looking for a place to park, waiting in line, and fighting the crowds, I think I’ll curl up on the couch with a hot mug of this mulled apple cider and bask in the glow of my Christmas tree.

This is a basic recipe and there are about a thousand diferent variations you could spin from this – such as lemon and orange peels, crystallized ginger, or cranberries.  If you’re still marking people off your list, throw these ingredients together in a slow cooker before you leave the house. Set the temp on low and by the time you return, your house will smell so warm and inviting and you’ll have a cozy treat to help you unwind.
